What is Required to Become a Consultant?

Igloo’s goal is to help small businesses succeed.  In order to accomplish this, we need a group of dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced business professionals.  Below is a list of criteria we consider when selecting our consultants:

• Have at least 2 years of professional experience and a college degree
• Have a passion for sharing in Igloo’s mission of helping the small-business community
• Identify at least one small business that could benefit from our consulting services and would be interested in using our service
• Commit to being a part of the organization for a minimum of 6 months
• Commit to donating 10-15 hours a month to work on projects and to attend monthly Igloo meetings
• Be willing to take part in social and fund raising events to promote and grow the organization
• Have experience in one or more of the following disciplines:  Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Journalism/Public Relations, Law, Real Estate, Consulting, Pricing, Sales Forecasting, Supply Chain, Investing
• Proficiency in one or more of the following technical areas is a plus: Adobe Photo Shop/Graphic Design, HTML/Web Design
